Default Bosch Logixx Dishwasher not drying

Hi,

I have little understanding of what happens in the drying stage; is it
simply the the hot water sprayed on the plates that does the drying,
or is the chamber heated please?

Either way, it is not drying properly (even on extra dry time). Is
this a DIY job please? If so, what is replaced and how do you get it
out? I have had the top and sides off, and the bottom is completely
encased. It is saying 'Don't touch me!!!' lol.

Any help please?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi

There is a heating element in the floor of the machine.

If you visit this address:-

https://portal.bsh-partner.com/porta...ORTALFRAME.HTM

.... and enter the e-number of your machine (It's engraved on the
inside of the door next to the latch), you can view an exploded
diagram of your machine which will hopefully help you understand how
to take it apart, and where the heating element is.

The most likely problem is that the heating element has gone open
circuit although there could be other explanations.

You need to click on Service, then QuickFinder by the way.

Thanks very much for your quick reply Steve. I had two problems, the
site appears to require a login , and I could find no number
whatsover on the door or its surround funnily enough. That wouldn;t
have been such a big problem, as I could navigate via

https://portal.bsh-partner.com/porta...REGIONINDEX=12

but that still needs a login to go any further...

Thanks,

Paul.

Use:

http://www.bshappliancecare.com/bshspares.html

Select Quickfinder, then click on Bosch.

The number *is* there, just don't expect a label. It's probably
engraved/stamped into the metal - try the top edge of the door, inside.
