Hi, can anyone recommend a good value supplier and any other advice
when ordering a solar cylinder?

To some extent that depends on what you mean by value, which may be
different to what some others mean by value.

For a supplier of just cylinders then there is a lot to be said for

For a supplier of cylinders and other bits there is a lot to be said
for http://www.navitron.org.uk/

Note that the latter don't make cylinders, rather they sell Newark
cylinders.

Have you considered a thermal store, rather than just a hot water
cylinder? This does mean more work, but the benefits are worthwhile.

Thank you for the reply. I have extremely poor water pressure due to a
shared supply - when nextdoors run their taps my tap slowa to a
trickle.

Sounds like you should convert all your cold fittings, other than
the kitchen tap, so that they are not supplied from the mains.
