Hi, can anyone recommend a good value supplier and any other advice
when ordering a solar cylinder?
To some extent that depends on what you mean by value, which may be
different to what some others mean by value.
For a supplier of just cylinders then there is a lot to be said forhttp://www.mcdonald-engineers.com/
For a supplier of cylinders and other bits there is a lot to be said
forhttp://www.navitron.org.uk/
Note that the latter don't make cylinders, rather they sell Newark
cylinders.
Have you considered a thermal store, rather than just a hot water
cylinder? This does mean more work, but the benefits are worthwhile.
