Instanteous water heater for ensuite
In our bedroom extension which is about to be built, the ensuite will
only have a cold water feed. I was thinking about separate electric shower and under wash-basin water heater. However I've recently come across the Zip inline instantaneous water heater (ILX9) which has digital thermostatic water temperature control, and claims to be able to supply both a shower (non- thermostatic mixer) and washbasin tap, although not simultaneously. This appeals to me as it is both a neat, unobtrusive option which cuts down on the wiring and is relatively cost effective (ILX9 appears to be just over £200). Does anyone have experience of these units (Australian origins I believe although there is a uk subsidary) or a similar sort of set up. Thanks Peter |
