Default Word needed, "bump" at end of cylinder

Hi, looking for the technical name for a small cube at the end of a
cylindrical button, the button gets fed through the cover and the cube
stops the button coming right through. There are four cubes if that
makes any difference.

Hard to understand what you're describing here, but they'd usually be
termed a "lug" and may be part of a "bayonet lock" (if you rotate the
cylinder to lock it in place using the lugs).

A protruding rim, edge, rib, or collar, as on a pipe shaft, used to
strengthen an object, hold it in place, or attach it to another object.

thanks, it wasnt even near the tip of my tongue, but they are lugs.
