Default Convert wardrobe to toy cupboard

Hi,

I have a B&Q wardrobe (see http://tinyurl.com/yntpso) which I want to
convert into a toy cupboard (i.e. fit shelves). Can anyone suggest
suitable materials and fixings for such a project?

TIA,
Mark

Don't click on the url. It has been hijacked.

The question is genuine.

The merits of different sheet materials are he

Half inch melamine would be the most popular choice. Some care is
needed to avoid chipping it during cutting.

Re fixings, you've got a few choices:
* little tiny plastic press in things in 6m holes - cheap, weak, can
fall out
* 1"x1" woodstrip glued or screwed round 3 sides under the shelf -
strongest option
* 1"x1" metal brackets, available in packs of 10 from any DIY outlet.
* Or for every conceivable option,

Thanks. I've bought some of this.

I'll go for this.

Thanks.

Without wanting to be too contentious - was the above really spam? Afterall
it was at least posted to a thread about wardrobes. I thought that it
wasn't frowned upon to mention commercial interests if they were relevenat
to the discussion in progress (rather like the Hep people used to)

Not having a go at anyone, just wondering really.

Cheers

Mark

If they contibuted elsewhere as well then it wouldn't perhaps be spam.
Posting only to advertise your company is spam.
