Default 3/8" BSF Brass threaded bar

Hello does anyone know where I might be able to purchase some of the above?

I do so miss my local ironmonger. He would have listened to my requirements,
taken a few minutes thinking, then got his ladder climbed up and located the
said bar or threaded bolts of the aforementioned size. And only charged me a
few pence.

Unlike B+Q and Wickes. Threaded what mate? What size is that in mm's? What's
BSF, never heard of that?

I'm not that old but I was taught BSF and Whitworth and had the various
spanners to match.....maybe I am getting old...
