Default Cooker Hob Ignitor Module

Did a bit of serious cleaning of the old Parkinson Cowan hob today and found
that the battery powered ignition module is looking a bit dodgy. Heat has
softened the plastic and it is very distorted.

The makers name is Turnright and the model i/d is GL830. Googled without
success.

Is there a supplier of suitable ignition modules should it decide to die the
next time it gets a bit too hot?

You will probably have to buy it as a standard spare part for the hob

.... or get it repaired by me

Was hoping for a pointer to a generic one.

Have a search around for cooker spares online.
There is one lot based in Preston that seems to be a bitter than most.

You don't get generic ones

otherwise they wouldn't be able to charge such extortionate prices for
them
