Swatch watch: taking out links
I was given a very nice Swatch watch for Christmas,
but the metal strap is much too long. It has links which as far as I can see are held by very small screws - the heads, which are countersunk, are less that 1mm in diameter. I tried to open them with a tiny screwdriver in a set for mending glasses, but this was about twice too big. Has anyone come across this problem? If so, what is the solution? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail (80k only): tim /at/ birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland |
