OT - Chief Constable with a personal hygiene problem?
It has been reported in the press that the female Chief constable for
North Yorkshire required an en suite shower to be installed in her office at a quite remarkable cost. £ Plumbing 15,000 Electrics 4,000 Flooring 900 Ceilings 900 Painting 900 Furniture 1,200 Building work 5,500 Total 28,400 Makes the average BG quote for central heating seem absolutely modest. The mind boggles, particularly at the first two and last items. What on earth did she get for the money, and what on earth are the council tax payers of North Yorkshire getting for theirs? -- Roger Chapman |
