There are further rumours that a well known pork pie maker is also thinking of relocation to the new venue. In the amazing pie that is British democracy, one is entitled to ask if the million and more quid a year spent on John Prescott would be better spent on the victims of the London terrorist attack? Unfortunately one is not entitled to an answer worth a crap. |

You might well ask the same about the £250K paid to his partner. But I guess the answer would be that MoS readers are far more interested in her raunchy tales than the alternative. -- Tony Bryer SDA UK 'Software to build on' http://www.sda.co.uk Free SEDBUK boiler database browser http://www.sda.co.uk/qsedbuk.htm [Latest version QSEDBUK 1.12 released 8 Dec 2005] |

I think his 'bit on the side' should get her eyes tested. I wonder how many times he used his work as an excuse to his wife as to why he was out late - when really he was sh@gging his secretary?? |

We work among the longest hours in the EU and have among the poorest conditions of service, etc. He's brainwashed. Don't waste your time. Any serious student of politics will know the reputation that soils the British workman was based on the sharp business practices of laying people off without thought, as and when the factory owner felt like it. That is the reason unions were formed in the first place. Crafty, criminal factory managers to this day engineer strikes by reneging on agreements. This is being emphasised in hospital management as we debate. |
