Awning Manufacturers havin' a larf?
Had a salesgirl pop around today to give a quote on a motorised awning,
width 3.5m and extends over by 3m. The 'monaco' cassette unit is made by a company called weiner (google failed me here) and it looks a solid affair - but very expensive, the quote is around £3500 including fitting. So me thinks - materials can't cost that much for a motor, fabric, electrics and mountings. Was expecting to pay less that half that at least. So it's a big mark up -- or is it? Anyone got good experience of a decent cheaper system for my dimensions. I'm not adverse to installing it myself. Cheers -- Adrian C |
