ballcock problem ?
Hi all,
we have a concealed cistern, with a "Macadee" type filling valve. Ordinarily this fills to the bottom of the cistern, so is quiet. I noticed when refilling the liquid cleaner, that when filling now, a little water appears to leak from the top of the assembly, which has a little tube from it as though you could put a pipe on it ... the leak isn't from the tube though , it's from round this blue piece of plastic that seems to make a seal into the main part of the valve. When I pressed the blue bit, it seemed to leak more. Is this anything to worry about ? If so, what can I do ? regards Jethro |
