Default mermaid or similar shower panels

Whats the feeling on these

I'm considering these for a power shower enclosure - is this a bad idea ?
Would tiles be better.

I asked this about a year ago and they got rave reviews from anyone that has
them. Some-one was also using some for a kitchen splashback. The tip I
remember was not to go for the shiny ones, they show up limescale waterdrops
etc too much.

I think they look fabulous and are on my wish list.
