was there it looks as though they've converted the system to pressurised

I *think* it's a condensing boiler (there seems to be a new outlet

other obvious changes to the system (I'd have zoned it myself - it's a
large house).

There are still problems with it that the fitters keep coming back to:
apparently it works fine for hot water, but soon if the heating comes
on, the pressure drops and it stops working (which sounds to my inexpert
ears like an old system not liking being pressurised and developing a
small leak somewhere) .

system springs one, only the water in that part of the system will leak,

It is generally considered that the advantages of a sealed system
outweigh the disadvantages. Personally I would always fit one myself.

To me, with more experience of both reading and posting to these sort of
groups than most - for many years - it's very simple.

I post here because I enjoy doing so. And I really couldn't give a stuff
whether others want to read it or not. As, I'd guess, do most others.

If they're occasional posters or readers and want concise replies with
no thread drift, then the killfile is their friend. After all, they've not
contributed much to the group.

Our resident ****** - aka desire to be alpha male, Drivel - wants his
comments to be gospel. Hence all the 'snip' bits for those of his supposed
followers who only read his 'thoughts' via Google, etc.

A slightly faulty 'point' from a contributor - on what is after all a DIY
group - often brings forth an educated discussion from some true experts
or professionals where we can all learn.

And it's a thanks for all those true pros or gifted amateurs who help out
many on here.
