Default How much-new patio door ?

Hi all,

Im looking to have an old wooden window removed, the wall beneath it
removed and a patio door, probably sliding type, fitted. How much might
i expect to pay for a good quality door?

At a rough guess the window is about 5ft wide and about 7ft to the tp
from the floor inside..measured very roughly..

I think you'd do a lot better with Fr3nch windows. You could
open one or both, and the opening width would be more than
with a sliding "patio door".

Mine cost ~£1500 for new double doors (UPVC in my case), cutting out the
wall below window, making good and supplying and building two steps below
the new doors to the back yard. Not as wide as yours, though and so only a
rough guide.

Yours,

Circumcised and happy.
