You're absolutely right Bob.

I've had a run-in with this humourless, foul mouthed, confrontational,
dictarorial, big mouthed waste of space myself.

Rather then hovering around dictating how people should behave on here it's
a shame he doesn't spare us all and post entirely in a test NG himself.

No, if he's new to newsgroups, he should familiarise himself with how
they work and protocol.

I take it you're another clueless newbie

Still the jumped-up, self appointed police man of the news group I see.

Shame you have to waste endless time and bandwidth on here trying to
supposedly educate people.

Still incapable of even the simplest stuff like not quoting people's
sigs, I see. Usenet doesn't on the whole have official appointees to
police groups - it relies on community-spirited individuals who have
a clue how it works to volunteer their services.

Shame you have to waste endless time and bandwidth on here trying to
supposedly educate people.

Shame some people don't seem to realise it would all fall apart
without a general consensus of adherence to published standards.

That's funny, you seem to have included the sig yourself in your reply. Tut,
tut shame on you you naughty boy!

I assume that obviously you were using it to make a point and it wasn't a
gaff which in some people's books warrants verbal abuse on here.

Or perhaps in your red misted, rush of blood to head pedantry you just left
it in accidentally, thus inadvertently making a tart of yourself in the
process?

We may never know and quite frankly ever care.
