Default Another server check ...

Just checking how quickly this post appears on the server. The 'new' one
that NTL have switched to, doesn't seem anything like as quick at picking up
posts from other servers, as the old one was. I don't suppose this check
will prove much, as I am actually on this server in the first place, but it
might be interesting to see how long it is before other servers can see it,
as again, the old server seemed very good at getting my posts 'out there'.
Local time here is 13:52 (12:52 UTC)

Use any search engine other than Google till they stop polluting USENET
with porn and junk commercial SPAM

If you have broadband, your ISP may have a NNTP news server included in
your account: http://www.usenettools.net/ISP.htm

OK Rich. Thanks for that. It would seem that's ok then. I guess I'm just
suspicious of the performance because they've changed from a server that had
always worked well in the past. Looking again now a bit more carefully, it
would seem that for the last few days, there has been a lot less activity on
this group, than usual.
