Default Repair Mr. Coffee TFTX85

I own a Mr. Coffee TFTX85 and after cleaning it up the machine does
not want to work. When I depress the on button it does not seem to
catch and when the light indicates on it goes off in about 5 seconds,
if anyone has a suggestion please advise, the machine is a favorite
and I want to keep it, I'm unable to buy parts from the maker unless
it is taken to them, I'm able to repair it myself with the parts.
