What is the tv power supply?
z ha escrito: Can someone explain what is commonly meant by tv power supply in traditional crt tv's of the 90's erz. What voltages are we talking about, what are the tell-tell signs to locate it on the chasis? Are there any other power supplies? .....usually located where the mains supply meets the tv's main board. generally has, amongst other components, a large (400v or so rated) capacitor, a large-ish transistor (3 legs) or stk/str regulator (5 or more legs) on a metal heatsink and a small ish transformer (often just like a 1.5" by 2" rectangle of moulded plastic). Typical outputs hard to generalise, usually have at least 3:a 95-130v, a 5-8v, one 26v or so...depends on the tv. PS is often marked off on the board by a printed line around it as being 'mains live area' or simlar. hope this clumsy desctiption helps. for photos, look here , clic the photo and see the top right part of the board http://www.schemetv.ro/?p=productsMore&iProduct=33 regards, -B, |
