Whirlpool oven computer repair
Looking for schematics or parts list for oven controller, whirlpool part
#6610057 . There is an 8-pin DIP that looks fried, board got wet and shorted foil paths. Number on chip is toast but partial is STMAL and K6815. Hoping this is something common like a timer chip and not proprietary. I can buy the whole thing for $150 and up, but really want to avoid that if possible. Mike |

Nowadays the whole controller circuit is the "component" to be replaced. Probably only the engineers who designed the circuit have the schematic and it will be difficult or impossible to find. |
