Default WTF Rockwell Vertical Mill

I recently purchased a Rockwell vertical mill. It has the power feed which I
need to fix but does anyone have or know of where I can find some parts???

These things are like hens teeth on Ebay.

No rockwell parts, unfortunately. I sold the last Rockwell miller a
couple years ago, to a gentleman who did a abso****inglutely beautiful
restoration job on it. Marvelous. I have pics somewhere if you want to
see it.

However..depending on what puked..it may be simpler to build a new
power feed using a small DC motor and controller. A number of folks
have done just that, and have posted the pics here.

Whatcha need?

I'm contemplating getting rid of the power feed. It is noisy and doesn't
work very well. BUT I'm still new at the problem. Maybe some more thinking
will make it right. Otherwise I was thinking of putting the stock hand feed
wheel on it if I could find the setup. I'm not enough of a machinist to make
all the pieces (Yet).

In the really need dept. The hand feed, spring, and clutch are missing from
the spindle feed. Just the coarse feed lever on the right. I don't really
need them but it would be nice. It's a good old machine, just needs a little
TLC.

Rockwell power feed parts were scarce even when the machines were still
in production. I adapted a geared rotisserie motor to one many years
ago and it worked well enough.

I have a Delta Rockwell 21-100 vertical mill, and the HAND feed is
sticky, and doesn't really work very well. I put a wheel on the knee
crank, and it is very precise, but lacks the pressure feedback feel of
that sticky drill press shift knob.
