Well Cliff you deserve that award,

Who gets the Viagra? Cliff Wins

You seem to stroke every post in this group.

If the guy already has Mastercam (or any Cam system) why bother with
the Hurco DXF option ? Hopefully he has a legitimate version of a Cam
software and when he needs support he can call in for help.

A few G.

If the guy already has Mastercam (or any Cam system)

Does he?

why bother with the Hurco DXF option ?

What "Hurco DXF option"? IIRC He asked about something
else and said that *all* he had was the "Hurco standard program"
(which I would assume to be their "conversational").

BTW, As he just got the machine I don't belerve it. IF it
has an EIA-232 connector (or two) (they look like Mil-spec
conectors BTY - you need to make special connectors for them
as I recall) I think he has the capability of standard code, as
from a postprocessor, as well.

And I saw his later post after writing this g.

Hopefully he has a legitimate version of a Cam
software and when he needs support he can call in for help.

Hope he got the Hurco manuals for the machine.
