Default What parts to salvage/sell from a UPS?

You might see if the specs on the diodes would let them be used for an
AC to DC arc welding converter.

A welder needs 4 diodes in a bridge with BIG heatsinks rated something
like 200 PIV and a bit more than half the short circuit (stuck rod)
amperage. You can run smaller ones in parallel if you add a small
resistance in series with each one for load balancing. In this case that
might mean a short piece of 12 ga wire if you were running at 200 maps.
