Default Semi OT : A bit of metalworking irony

In 1942 John Norden and Carl Barth, the fathers of the Norden
bombsight, founded the Barden company to produce precision ball
bearings for the Norden bombsights.

Barden is still in existence today, but it is now a subsidiary of FAG,
one of the oldest makers of ball bearings in the world which is still
headquartered in. . .

Schweinfurt, Germany.

(Yep, _that_ ball bearing factory.)
