Here's another issue. Alaska state law requires that, if you kill a bear, from whatever reason, you have to pack out the skin, the claws, and the skull, and present them to a game official.

That would knock the hell out of a weekend camping trip. Maybe the pepper-spray people should note this in their advertising. d8-)
