How many autos don't leak at 810,000 miles (from every frigging spot where
there's oil)? At 27K hours, it's amazing it runs well enough TO leak!

That's a high time engine for sure!

27K hours works out to a little over 3 years!

Or over 11 years of 'normal' 10-hour a day, 240 day per year duty.

And that assumes it's running the whole ten hours of every day. If it
ran a more realistic 5 hours per day, that's 22 years of service.

Yeah... I'd say it was a "high time engine"!

is the crank seal surface damaged? They make seals thet seat to a
different depth ior some engines to get the seal running on an unworn
portion of the seal surface.

How much oil is leaking? If not too much, just add oil as it depletes.
