Brazing on vertical services - flux vs. gravity
Attempting to repair pins holes in a stainless kitchen sink in place.
How do you keep the flux in place against the force of gavity? Is there something like a ceramic sponge that can stand red heat and be used as a carrier for the flux? Mike |

If you are silver brazing you mix the flux with water and paint it on the area to be brazed and go to it. -- Cheers, John B. |

Would that be an option for you? Brazing pinholes seems a bit heavy... Michael Koblic, Campbell River, BC |

Mike How do you put holes in kitchen sinks? :/ The last place I left was 50 years old and this one is 25 years old and neither have any more than scratches on the sink. Your kitchen hand must be very heavy handed or do you wash car engine parts etc.? :-@ -- John G |
