Default Greenhouse Gases Hit Record High in 2011

Fracking has made carbon based energy cheap and abundant.

Doesn't matter what the UN or any government does about CO2.

Just wait until the technology is applied in China, Africa and India.

IF we don't first waste and then toxic-pollute -all- of Earth's groundwater doing so, huh? All that gas/oil and nobody around to use it. My point is that fracking is a game changer and the preverbal cat is out of the bag. The UN can treaty away and it is not going to stop second and third world countries from developing CH4.

IMHO Fracking and resulting cheap energy is a lonely light to the poor in second and third world countries.

I predict the China’s apatite for coal is going to go away in 10 years replaced by domestic methane.

But "Fracking" is just a method of enhanced production. It doesn't
make new gas or oil, nor does it produce improved recovery in just any
old formation.

In addition, it seems to have resulted in man made earth quakes in
some instances, particularly enhanced geo-thermal drilling, so
apparently it is not a "one size fits all" solution.

It might also be noted that transportation of gas is not a trivial
problem.
