In Washington State where I used to live, the trucks with four wheel
drive had no problems zooming along at their usual speed. However one
would often find them off the road because they forgot that a four
wheel drive has no advantage in stopping.

I drove a stepvan when I lived in Ohio. It could go almost anywhere.
