industry, banking industry, and managed to prop up our economy at

Yes, he propped it up alright, he built a house of cards. Luckily the
Republicans will be elected and they will bring the support, nails, and
glue to restore this country to its rightful place.

You saw what the republicans did. If they get back in the majority they
will do a repeat performance. They still have not learned that their
fantasies are just that. They still think that all you have to do is
deregulate the markets and cut taxes for the wealthy and kaboom
everything is great. You better be afraid the republicans will get power
again. Unless you want to see a repeat of what they did from 2001 to
2008. But my guess is you're the type that thinks you can do the same
thing over again and it'll turn out different this time. Like the
republicans will not run up huge deficits this time. Yeah, sure, are you
interested in buying a bridge?

Yeah, the Bush years were tough.

- 26 consecutive quarters of economic growth,
- average unemployment of 5%
- virtually no inflation
- increased productivity.

This in spite of 9/11, Katrina, and two wars.

Obama has screwed our relations with Poland, Turkey, Israel, and Great
Britain. He's tripled, in one year, the debt Bush ran up in eight. Actual
unemployment is in the neighborhood of 18%, economic growth is anemic to
nonexistent. Performance in the BP spill reeks of incompetence and
indecision. His
health care plan is opposed, at last measure, by 62% of the public and a
like number oppose his immigration schemes.
And next to the leadership in Congress, he almost looks good. I'm
embarrassed that other countries can see the sort of hateful trash
Democrats send to lead our country.

I don't see how Republicans could do much worse.
Maybe if they really worked at it.
