Default HSS Endmill sharpening, is it even done anymore?

My HSS endmills I either touch up the end to spruce them up or toss them depending on need
and size.

At work, I've got a few 3/4" x 4 inch of flute end mills that I'm side milling with. The
flutes need touching up on these. The endmill mentioned above was like 32 bucks or so
from McMasters and is Niagra brand.

I'll probably have a few dull ones soon and wondered if it was economic to have them
sharpened and where is there a service that does this? I googled a bit but only carbide
was mentioned so I'm wondering if HSS sharpening is gone by the wayside.

Oh, I've been in New Jersey all along, just not to B&S - though I did
drive past there a few weeks ago.

How has New Jersey changed? Is there any country side left?

I sure miss the kaiser rolls we used to get on the way out of the state every summer.
Can't remember if the bakery was in Passaic or Lodi. 6 grocery bags of them in the back
of the station wagon and a tub of whipped salted butter, we didn't need anything else all
the way back to Indiana.

Oh, how it has changed since '74... There's still countryside, but not
nearly as much as there was back then, or even a few years ago. Real
estate has become so expensive that the farms have been eaten alive by
townhouses. My brother still has a couple of acres just about smack in
the middle of the state, with horses and chickens. We still have a
farmer's market here (about 5 miles outside of NY city), and most of
the farmers come from somewhere in NJ.

You can still get great baked goods, but you have to know where to
shop. Here in my neighborhood, we have Balthazar's, which may well be
the bast bakery on the planet. Most people who live here don't even
know about it, since it's housed in an old factory building. In
Hackensack (where B&S is), there's B&W bakery that makes most
excellent jelly doughnuts & coffee cake. But for bread, it's gotta be
Balthazar's.

For bagels, we have a little shop in town that makes almost the best I
ever had (the best are from H&H in New York). We have fedexed cartons
of them to a friend in Canada.

I'm sure Ed will jump in here with some "how NJ has changed" stuff. We
seem to do this every coupla years.
