I've noticed that too. He makes himself an easy target, and they pile
on like hyenas with anonymous malice. Mean and cowardly describes them
well.

First amendment doesn't require honesty. But writings, whether honest
or not, do have a way of revealing character over time regardless of
how others may try to spin them after the fact.
