Where do you get your TIG consumables online?
I've been looking around and have found a wide range of prices. I'm guessing that even the cheapest tungsten is just fine. Thanks, -- Dan H. northshore MA. |

This is despite the thread you are in having not mentioned race or sexual preference in any way that is relevant to the subject." Grey Ghost |

Get the correct electrode. Different color codes for different characteristics. Some for AC, some for low amperage. Do a google search on tungsten electrode colors. |

Which is not much TIG. But be aware that not all are the same. |

Get the correct electrode. Different color codes for different characteristics. Some for AC, some for low amperage. Do a google search on tungsten electrode colors. I have looked for recommendations on what type (cerated, lanthanated, thorated etc.) and have ordered and tried 1.5% lanthanated for aluminum AC, and 2% throated for DC on steel an stainless steel. The torch came with some cerated ones, and they seem OK too. -- Dan H. northshore MA. |
