The government posted new data late Friday on the government's Cash
for Clunkers rebate program. Here's a look at the top-selling new
vehicles through the program when multiple engine options, flexible-
fuel vehicles and hybrid versions are taken into account.

2. Honda Civic 28,456

3. Toyota Camry 27,137

4. Ford Focus 22,388

5. Ford Escape 21,894

6. Honda CR-V 20,106

7. Hyundai Elantra 19,797

I would guess it is, might take a lot of research that I don't have
time for. If all else fails a trip to each car dealer will find the
info on the window sticker.

I would guess it is, might take a lot of research that I don't have
time for. If all else fails a trip to each car dealer will find the

It's going to be tough, because the parts for one alternator on one make of
GM car, as of six years ago, contained several parts that were sourced from
three different countries -- Germany, China, and the US. And that was in one
production batch.
