The fedgov needs to get completely out of American biz. Both Dems and
Repubs have shown no understanding of how biz works, and consistently
pass
hideously anti-biz legislation.

The CEO's of major US corporations are the ones who seem to have
no understanding of how business works. The were given free reign
from 2000 until 2006 (no EPA suits, no SEC enforcement, a muzzled
FDA) and look what the corrupt *******s did to our economy. I'll take
my chances with some government checks on these crooks.

It's the unions, with government collusion, that bankrupted everybody.

it was bush's deregulation that caused all of this, no oversight


Actually, it was the fault of the business community. While Bush's
administration did believe in not regulating business, it has always been
business that has called the tune for the republican party. Republicans have
always been the puppets of business, that never changes. So the reason we
got business deregulation again is because that is what business has been
working at getting for decades. They could never get their way completely
until the republicans got complete control of the government but they have
been angling for total deregulation of business ever since FDR was
president. The one other constant of business, aside from wanting complete
freedom from governmental regulation, is its never-ending scapegoating of
unions. Business hates unions and regulation more than anything in the
world. If they had their way the U.S. would return to the 1920s when unions
did not exist and all government did was help business make more money. But
we saw how that plan worked out then and now we have seen how it turned out
when they did it again. The only question is has the American public finally
learned that doing what business and the republican party wants gives us the
same thing every damn time; a financial disaster.
