Never worked on a gas dryer, but I'm sure they have the same safety
systems as a gas furnace, which I do know. The gas feed will be
controlled by a solonoid valve, initiated by the operating software,
and held open after startup by a good feedback from the flame sensor..
See if the valve is enabled.
