Kill all messages from Google newsgroups? I use OE. See if your OE can kill messages based on Message-ID header field. If so, kill everything with google in message ID. -- Due to extreme spam originating from Google Groups, and their inattention to spammers, I and many others block all articles originating from Google Groups. If you want your postings to be seen by more readers you will need to find a different means of posting on Usenet. http://improve-usenet.org/ |

There may be some good stuff there. RR You can use NewsProxy to tag them. Here is an example that some people are using on the sci.electronics.* newsgroups. This white lists anyone in the list, and tags everything else with a 'GOOG ' prefix. This works for every newsgroup you subscribe to, through the proxy server. * sco-100 From:*altzone* * sco-100 From:*Bruhns* * sco-100 From:*dagmargoodboat* * sco-100 From:*gearhead* * sco-100 From:*Glenn Gundlach* * sco-100 From:*JeffM* * sco-100 From:*Knoppow* * sco-100 From:*Legris* * sco-100 From:*Leon* * sco-100 From:*mkr5000* * sco-100 From:*MooseFET* * sco-100 From:*mpm* * sco-100 From:*mrdarrett* * sco-100 From:*oriel36* * sco-100 From:*pomerado* * sco-100 From:*Winfield* * sco+10 Message-ID:*googlegroups* * FLAG:GOOG sco10 -- http://improve-usenet.org/index.html aioe.org, Goggle Groups, and Web TV users must request to be white listed, or I will not see your messages. If you have broadband, your ISP may have a NNTP news server included in your account: http://www.usenettools.net/ISP.htm There are two kinds of people on this earth: The crazy, and the insane. The first sign of insanity is denying that you're crazy. |
