Wal-Mart's sucking up to Bloomberg notwithstanding, the trend now is for individual empowerment. More and more Americans are deciding that while they may not especially like guns, we're deciding that being defenseless is not acceptable if the gummint is unable to keep us safe from armed criminals. You might think about shifting your focus to crusading for the prohibition of demon rum. |

AND to that end, Don, Florida just passed the "guns in the workplace" law that now allows people to travel to and from work protected by the weapons they're already licensed to conceal and carry, without worrying that their employer might be a nanny-state liberal who'll fire them for bringing a gun "onto the property". That doesn't mean you can bring it into the building, necessarily, but at least you can have it with you while you travel. Maybe the noose isn't quite as tight as the OP suggests. LLoyd |

LLoyd I think if anything it's getting looser. Looks like that worries the hell out of the OP. Society is us, and we are reluctantly but steadily moving toward accepting more responsibility for our own safety. Let the nannies who need a senior activity run the condo associations and tell others what kinds of bushes they may plant. |

At many stores it has stopped selling guns...too much liability. This current move is to do what the government and the progun crowd has been unable to do...track guns and their owners. TMT |

LLoyd Yeah...I hear the bad guys in Florida are overjoyed knowing that they can stop and pick up their daily quota of guns from any company parking lot now. TMT |

LLoyd LOL...the noose is tighter than ever. And it is because we the gun owners have failed to self police ourselves. TMT |
