(I finally found my manual) There is a jack for external power, and an AC adapter was sold separately. The camera does not power down automatically when the external supply is used. Now the bad news: while the camera responds quickly to the shutter button, there is a 2 second delay when actuated by the IR remote. I don't see a way around that, other than to operate the shutter button mechanically with a small solenoid. |
