Default is it possible to use AC motor with inverter in 4Q mode?

i need to stabilize speed with AC motor and inverter but the load
direction is changing (but the rotating direction and speed must stay
the same) is it possible?
i'm using LG inverter (www.lsis.biz)

With a vector drive and encoder feedback, yes.

torque on the opposite side of rotation?
