Default Help with South Bend 16" Motor I.D.

I need help getting information on a 16" South Bend lathe motor. I don't
have the cover plate for the motor so I don't have the specs on it.

I did speak to Leblonde and got this much from them...
General Electric 3 HP, 3 Phase, 460V, Frame is 182T, 1800 RPM. 1 1/8"
Spindle.

Can anyone who has one tell me what the Amperage is?

I just Got the Teco FM-100 VFD and I need to input the amperage into the
codes.

Thanks,

Ted

Keep in mind oftentimes the motor was changed years ago and may not match
what originally left the factory.

Having said that I find the Grainger catalog motor section a good source for
checking motor specs. Just look up 3phase squirrel cage 460v motor and look
for the amp rating.
