Default Fun things to do with a 9,000 volt transformer

On a hunch, I just Googled "neon transformers". If the ones that you
picked up can source 30mA, then it looks like your're set. Even if you
don't want to keep them, neon hobbyists/pros might be a target
audience for sale.

BTW, depending on what they are, I might be interested in one.
