Auction in Mass, collectors plus
Hey guys,
Got an auction calendar mailed to me today, about an auction in Webster, Mass. The business is Gould & Eberhardt Gear Machinery. The bsuiness was started in 1830, and the auction catalog says there is stuff from that era. The catalog flyer has a box block in big letters claiming/suggesting: COLLECTORS TAKE NOTE OVER 100 YEARS WORTH OF GEAR RELATED TOOLING, FIXTURES & ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEMS 100’S & 100’S OF COLLECTABLE ANTIQUES although there is no mention of what this consists of anywhere that I could see. Looks like quite a clean and fairly modern plant, and has some lathes and mills and lots of metrology of interest. Relocating & Outsourcing Mfg. GOULD & EBERHARDT GEAR MACHINERY 2 Sutton Road Webster, Massachusetts 05170 TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25th Starting at 10AM INSPECTION DAY BEFORE 9 TO 4 Too far for me to go!! Web page at: http://www.myronbowling.com/ Take care, Brian Lawson, Bothwell, Ontario. |
