Default Metal to make coins from

Hi Folks,

Just a odd question.... I am making coins by hand striking them with a 10 lb
hammer. I've made coins from sterling silver, gold, bronze, aluminium
bronze, brass, copper, aluminium, and soon hopefully tin. What other metals
or alloys are there that are non toxic and would be in the softness range of
copper and silver that could be used to make coins. I know some of the
Scandinavian countries list Nickel as toxic but that's too hard for my dies.
I may try some pure Iron when I find a source.

Just curious at what is out there.
Kyle.
