I am looking for a cargo basket for the roof of my vehicle, I need one that
is 40" X 44". I would like to make it myself BUT I do not have a bender. I
do have one that has been ordered but will not be in until OCT. and I really
don't want to pay 200 bucks for one that I can get . If anyone out there
local to York Pa can fabricate a simple yet effective rooftop cargo basket I
would be extremely greatful and even pay for it OF COURSE. I have a price in
mind, which is what I would be paying for the one that will be available in
OCT. The basket that I want is very simple it is a 5/16th (about) 4"square
( like a cage) (sorry I don't know the terminology) then in square shape
with rounded corners 3/4 square or round stock. Better yet, rather than
openly display my stupidity. I have a picture of it in the Cabelas catalog.
I could even weld it together if someone could bend the steel for me.
