making an extractor
I was recently given a Coey model 39, but there was no extractor in the
bolt. Has anyone tried to make one up, and or have an idea of what would be the best steel for the job. Plus ideas to get a proper spring temper would great. Any help appreciated... Mike |

Mike rather than make one, try this source http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.as...SKU=281000&MC= "Considering the events of recent years, the world has a long way to go to regain its credibility and reputation with the US." unknown |

While making one shouldn't be too bad, have you checked Gun Parts, inc (google is your friend) to see if they have 'em in stock? Sometimes the easy way out is the best... Dave Hinz |

Mike Let us know whatcha did. Gunner "Pax Americana is a philosophy. Hardly an empire. Making sure other people play nice and dont kill each other (and us) off in job lots is hardly empire building, particularly when you give them self determination under "play nice" rules. Think of it as having your older brother knock the **** out of you for torturing the cat." Gunner |
