Default American Machinist Training Manuals by Beckwith?

Does anyone have any experience with the American Machinist Training Manuals
("Basic Shop Orientation" and "Basic Shop Machining") by Beckwith &
Associates?

What did you think of these in terms of content and overall instructional
value?

Thanks,
Michael
