Does anyone know of a good resource for online plans to build bookcases?
Looking to add storage and bookcases to an open wall in the den that will be
about 10ft in width, floor to ceiling 9ft. Thought of getting unfinished
cabinets, adding a nice top and then shelves to the ceiling from there with
decorative trim, no router is available. Any advice would be appreciated.
Something like this here --

If you not a woodworker, Popular Mechanics has some really easy free plans
for bookshelves that look okay.

My son built a couple for a hospital waiting room for his Eagle project.
Despite horrible workmanship they are pretty good.

If you are a woodworker you will think they are a bit crude, but then you
wouldn't be wanting plans.

Try rec.woodworking also and include where you live as a neighbot
might lurk there and offer assistance. There is a program related to
shelf sag vs span you might want to see.
