![]() Are there any type of vinyl tiles, particularly, the click together types, that can be installed on stairs? Are there any non-slipery nose pieces for stairs? Thanks for any pointers. |

I installed some black rubber treads (covers the tread and nosing) that have
lasted 20 years with no visible deterioration. They were pretty reasonable and bought at a HD type place. They have a ribbed surface, so traction is good. Bill "someone" wrote in message ... Thanks.
I checked the google, and it seems that there are many places that sells the rubber or vinyl treads. But they are pretty expensive - some rubber treads sells for $50 each. If you also factor in the matching rubber for riser and the landing area, this setup is more expensive than a hardwood stair. bill a wrote: I installed some black rubber treads (covers the tread and nosing) that have lasted 20 years with no visible deterioration.
